Do you want to help the companies of the future as part of a fast-growing team, and are you curious what the legal workplace of the future looks like? This is the same programme as the general bar traineeship, run on the financial-regulation and blockchain team.

What you will get

  • After completion The certificate for the law firm internship period needed to apply for the Zurich or St. Gallen bar.
  • Personal mentors Trainees are mentored by lawyers experienced in their field, who accompany them personally through the 14-month programme.

What you will be doing

  • Advisor to the companies of the future You become a trusted advisor to decision-makers, giving growing and established companies the expertise to achieve their plans.
  • Regulatory work end to end Token classification under the FINMA guidelines, licensing questions, MiCA, and the corporate work that comes with a regulated business.
  • Business skills Working with entrepreneurs in a fast-growing company, you will develop business skills you can apply in engagements and in whatever you do next.
  • Leader You will lead your own engagements and act as an associate buddy for the next programme intake.

What is required

  • Fluency in English, plus French or German French or German for most Swiss matters, English for the international ones.
  • Growth mindset We look for legal minds that see opportunities despite being trained to focus on risks.
  • Attention to detail Actionable advice goes much further than reciting the law. That takes diligence and attention to the minutiae of every case.
  • Team spirit You will work side by side with clients and colleagues. You are humble, positive, open and curious about people.
  • IT affinity We are 99% digital and constantly test new tools. Proficiency in MS Office is a must; further IT skills are a plus.
