Christian Meisser

Christian is managing partner at LEXR and founded the firm in 2016 after a career in Big Law in Zurich and London and an MBA in Hong Kong (HKU) and New York (Columbia Business School). He has exceptionally broad tech-law experience — from commercial contracts and corporate matters to HR and privacy — with a main focus on financial-market regulation and the crypto industry. He is passionate about helping tech companies overcome bureaucracy and legal challenges to unlock the positive power of innovation.

• Advocates for blockchain-, fintech- and startup-friendly regulation as a board member of the Swiss FinTech Association and the Swiss Blockchain Federation's advocacy committee.
• Structured many leading crypto projects (L1s, L2s, staking providers, DeFi protocols, DAOs, stablecoins, NFT projects, RWA tokenization, token issuers) for regulatory, corporate and tax setup.
• Board member of tech companies including Audatex, Bitmain and Matrixport.
• Led the pan-European data-privacy compliance effort for a US-based tech and data company.
• Provided the legal engineering for the tokenization of shares in Switzerland.
• Structured corporate setups from joint ventures and financing rounds to DeFi acquisitions and exits.
