Jeremy Freifeld

Jeremy is Of Counsel at LEXR, advising clients on commercial contracts, financial transactions, corporate law, and US legal matters. Prior to joining LEXR, he spent nearly eight years at a boutique startup law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, serving as outside counsel and day-to-day strategic partner to venture-backed technology and life sciences companies from seed stage through exit, advising founders, executive teams, and boards on corporate transactions (M&A, venture financings, and credit facilities) and commercial agreements. He then led client contracting at one of the largest independent registered investment advisory firms in the United States, negotiating commercial agreements while working alongside financial advisors and business leaders to translate regulatory requirements into practical contracting decisions. He also spent time in the in-house legal department for a large public university in North Carolina, focusing on technology transfer contracts. Jeremy is a North Carolina-licensed attorney working with LEXR's New York City office.
