Trusted by tech companies to protect their brands

Julian Liniger
I highly appreciate our partnership and collaboration with the LEXR team. They have supported us for the majority of our 5-year journey so far, growing from a crappy, early stage startup to a shiny, quickly expanding scaleup. Many topics around Regulation, Legal, Compliance, and Fundraising were far away from straight-forward and required an immense level of pragmatism and responsivity, which we were always able to count on. I can only recommend LEXR, especially for early stage, VC-backed startups in dynamic environments!

How we solve your challenges

From first monitoring alert to UDRP decision and transfer — complete domain protection in one team.

Enforce your rights against cybersquatters and fraudulent registrations. The Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) allows trademark owners to reclaim domains without going to national courts. We assess your case, draft and file a tailored UDRP complaint, and guide you end-to-end through the proceeding.

Swift removal of infringing websites, social media accounts, scams, marketplaces, or online content. Where speed matters most, takedown actions allow rapid intervention — in many cases, action can be taken within days. We handle the entire process on your behalf.

Continuous surveillance to detect and stop misuse early. We monitor your domain registrations, provide regular updates on conflicting registrations, and deliver expert risk assessments on whether and how to take further steps.

Proactive domain name strategy to strengthen brand protection. We advise on which domains to register, how to structure your portfolio, and how to prevent infringements before they happen — combining IP strategy with practical enforcement experience.

Rapid intervention to stop scams targeting your customers. When fraudsters clone your domain to run phishing campaigns or payment scams, every hour counts. We coordinate swift takedowns and first-response letters to protect your customers and your reputation.

Domain Name Protection FAQ

The questions founders and brand owners ask us most before acting on a domain infringement.

The Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) is a procedure to resolve disputes over domains registered in bad faith. It allows trademark owners to reclaim domains without going to national courts. The process involves filing an official complaint before an accredited dispute resolution provider; the case is then reviewed by one or more independent arbitrators (known as a panel), who issue a binding decision.

The timeline depends on the platform and the nature of the infringement, but in many cases action can be taken within days. We coordinate the process on your behalf and keep you updated throughout.

A takedown is fast and effective but usually only targets content, leaving the fraudulent domain active and available for future misuse. A UDRP decision, on the other hand, allows you to transfer and secure ownership of the domain, preventing repeated infringements and providing a long-term solution. While it takes more time and resources, it's often the best choice if the domain itself holds strategic value.

Your chances are higher if you hold a registered trademark corresponding to the disputed domain name. We assess the strength of your case before recommending a UDRP filing, so you can make an informed decision about whether to proceed.

A registered trademark significantly strengthens any domain dispute or UDRP complaint. However, even without registration, we can assess your rights and advise on the best strategy — including whether a takedown action or cease-and-desist letter may be more appropriate in your situation.
